This ERASMUS+ project arises in order to promote theatrical education as a teaching and training tool, useful for innovative and inclusive teaching and for the development of active citizenship and cross-cutting competences. The theatre, in fact, included in the school environment has the merit of facilitating the individual in acquiring a vision of both the world and the society that are able to affect the education of the person and, in particular, his critical capacity. The use of theatrical teaching is an innovative methodology to experiment the reality both subjectively and collectively and to develop in the involved students motivation, curiosity and emotion through the creative process, a source of growth and maturity.
This project aims at making teenagers aware of the digital world around them. The virtual dimension of communication and collaboration via the Internet offers great stimuli, but also hidden dangers our students must be aware of.
We have created a sort of alphabet of words related to the topic.
Exchanging experiences across national borders, discussing key issues and concerns relating to the use of social media has provided our students with a wider perspective, focusing on the shared responsibility and critical thinking everyone of us must consider when using the net.
The project was awarded the European quality label
The Project has been awarded the second prize category 12-15 years in Greece
The project deals with module 3 of the EU YOUrope competition. For many young people digitisation means increasingly taking part in the digital world alongside „real“ life. Social media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, SnapChat and Instagram seem to present an attractive alternative to "real" life activities. Above all young people are fascinated by the possibilities of sharing all sorts of different content online (memes, jokes, explanatory videos, science experiments, magic tricks, beauty and health tips, showcasing special talents).
Apart from taking part on a national level, there is also the possibility to do an etwinning project for the competition. Exchanging experiences across national borders, discussing key issues and concerns relating to the use of social media platforms will provide our students with a wider perspective to the topic.
The project was awarded the European quality label
We also dealt with SAFER INTERNET DAY with some international surveys
The project has been awarded in the EU YOUrope competition
This project aims at tackling online hate speech making students aware of the issue first, and then reflect on it trying to find an appropriate response to the problem.
Students were asked to interact and express their point of view and personal experiences about online hatespeech; they analysed situations where hate speech is present and tried to react giving examples of possible positive counter reactions. Students focused on the figure of Greta Thunberg and applied their knowledge on social and emotional learning to tackle online hatespeech directed against her.
The project was awarded the National Quality label
This project aims at making students aware of the problem of fake news. Our pupils at school are nowadays familiar with technology more than in the past, and they can be flooded by a great deal of information. We' d like to help them use their critical thinking by checking facts before sharing content online. The project has provided them with some really useful guidelines to make them reflect on the information they can find online , using it responsibly.
The students were asked to become real fact checkers, working collaboratively on questionnaires to be shared with the partner schools, discussing in groups and online the results, playing games sharing real and fake news to be "discovered" by the other teams.
The project was awarded the European quality label
In this project the students were asked to focus on typical historical geographical artistic aspects of their countries and prepare materials to be shared with partner students from the countries taking part in the project. With the help of the latest technologies available (virtual reality, internet, skype, cloud) they created virtual tours of their countries all over Europe thanks to ICT . Moreover they had the opportunity to get to know the reality of distant countries involved in the project and their cultural heritage.
